In addition to the status of its by-laws, the Commission primarily discussed its current and future projects, e.g. the sediment balance of the Rhine, contribution of snow and glaciers to the discharge of the Rhine, a literature study on Lake Constance as water reservoir, and socio-economic impacts on the runoff regime. The report on “Contribution of snow and glacier melt to the discharge in the Rhine and its tributaries against the background of climate change” has been published.
