Intern from the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, the Netherlands

Ainur Kokimova from Kazakhstan is pursuing her Master Degree in Groundwater and Global Change within the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees Programme. Before coming to Europe for studies, Ainur worked at the UNESCO Chair on Water Resources Management in Central Asia in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Her main fields of interest were capacity-development projects for civil servants and Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) implementation.

At the ICWRGC, she has joined the CO-MICC Team with the aim to develop skills in project planning, broaden her knowledge in climate change adaptation and get practical experience in building monitoring datasets. Ainur’s internship is supervised by Dr. Marianela Fader.
