URSACHEN Project
Uncertainties of an often unknown magnitude are often inherent in data on water quality and suspended matter concentrations.,This is due to the spatiotemporal variability of the dissolved and suspended matter in combination with the representativity of the sampling process (duration, spatial distribution, measurement interval). The consequences are major uncertainties in the calculation of yearly loads, posing a considerable challenge to the monitoring of river systems. The URSACHEN project investigates the spatiotemporal variability of dissolved and suspended substances in rivers and derives methodological implications for the uncertainty determination of global substance loads.[divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”15″][nectar_btn size=”small” open_new_tab=”true” button_style=”regular” button_color_2=”Accent-Color” color_override=”#75b727″ icon_family=”fontawesome” url=”http://waterandchange.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/2020.06_URSACHEN-Flyer_210x297_lowres.pdf” text=”URSACHEN Flyer” icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-file-pdf-o”]Download: PDF, 2 p., 2,4 MB[divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”15″]
