Facing climate and water change impacts in Central Asia

[divider line_type=”No Line” custom_height=”20″]ICWRGC and its partners, the Kazakh-German University, the UNESCO Regional Office in Almaty, and WMO hosted a workshop comprising three events in Almaty (Kazakhstan) from 16 to 20 October. The workshop started with a glacier seminar “Climate Change and Glaciers – Significance and Impact on Water Resources in Central Asia – Tien Shan, Pamir and Hindu Kush Mountains” as the first event, followed by a Hydro-met data workshop and concluded with the OUTLAST stakeholder workshop. It was crowned with success as a lively exchange took place because of the great interest. It was agreed to continue the exchange. To promote future cooperation, DKU and ICWRGC will set up an online platform under the umbrella of Central Green Asia.
