Master’s student from the Technical University of Munich
For one year, Blanca Torres Vara from Spain has been studying environmental and civil engineering at the TU Munich (TUM) within the scope of a joint master programme with the Technical University of Madrid. Since 15.10.2018, Blanca has joined the ICWRGC as part of the GEMStat team, where she will write her master thesis on the “Estimation of nutrient loads in South Africa“ until 14.04.2019. Blanca’s master thesis is supervised by Prof. Dr. Markus Disse (TUM) and Dr. Claudia Färber (ICWRGC). Following her graduation, Blanca would like to contribute her knowledge and skills to an organisation for development assistance and cooperation.
