PLA-NET – The Plastic Network

The PLA-NET platform on plastics in marine and freshwater environments has been founded to share insights into the current (country-specific) situation, discuss related challenges and enhance collaboration opportunities in the future. Launching the platform was sparked by an International Summer School on plastics in aquatic environments organized by the German Federal Institute of Hydrology (BfG) and the International Centre for Water Resources and Global Change (ICWRGC) in 2017.
