Workshop on “Risk-based Hydrologic Engineering Design Standards: Adapting Hydrologic Engineering, Planning and Evaluation Procedures for Infrastructure Design under Climate Uncertainty”
Koblenz, 24–25 April 2017
The ICWRGC, in cooperation with the International Center for Integrated Water Resources Management, the International Center for Water Hazard and Risk Management and the WMO, have organized and hosted this workshop. The main objectives were to discuss and propose practical solutions for adapting existing risk-based approaches to hydrologic planning, and select the most risk-cost effective option for a particular water resources management issue with consideration of all relevant uncertainties including future climate.
